Back home, whenever the Council of Counts took a vote, you always knew who was safe. The ones who voted against the wishes of the Emperor or the Prime Minister were the ones to worry about the least. It was the ones who voted with the ones in power, the ones who didn't want to look suspicious, who were most likely to be plotting usurpation.
