5 - [Action/Voice]

[snikting]

[So Logan has been planning this for awhile. But he doesn't like announcing things on the journal. Because then people will want to talk to him. And he doesn't like talking to people on the journals. It's bad enough that his journal shows up even after he purposely loses it. And now elves. Damn elves. It's thanks to their pestering that he makes his move. That is, actually offering to 'give' something to the community.

Probably not what the elf had in mind. But then, he impaled it on his claws. So what the hell does he care what it thinks?]

Now I know I ain't exactly the first to offer any kind of combat instructing. So I ain't going to bother looking for civvies. If you don't know how to fight, there's plenty of other people eager to show you the ropes. Not that I ain't willing to consider ya, but you aren't the only people I'm concerned with.

What I do is train mutants. People with powers. So it doesn't matter what you can do. If you're looking to refine your powers, get stronger, and increase your chances of not dying - then I'm your man. I'm known as Wolverine. Or you can call me Logan. If you're interested, see me at the Dome. You'll be getting your introductory lesson there.

[Logan can be found at the Dome, waiting by the console. He's in his X-Men uniform. Anyone who frequents the dome won't find this look too unusual for him. There's also his latest elf. It looks fairly traumatized, worried, and paranoid. Which is why it's hiding behind one of the pillars holding up the second floor, rather than anywhere near Wolverine.

He's so very, very much on the naughty list.]

Oh come on! [He whines, rolling out of the way of the next punch and trying to get up to his feet. Resulting in him being kicked again, launched part across the room.

Not that any of the injuries are showing that long. Healing an all]

[snikting]

Less whining, more results. Stop getting your ass kicked.

[rashness]

I'm not trying to! [The light blue sparks around his head remain the droids come in for a pincer strike. He holds up both forearms, catching them and trying to pull it into a contest of strength. They look evenly matched a moment-- until both droids kick him. He yelps and skids back some, but shoves them back too before coughing to his knees a moment.

He'll be up in a moment]

[snikting]

[He growls sympathetically.]

You ready to quit? [He'd respect the kid for sticking to it. But this is pretty brutal and even he has his limits for what he'll put the kid through.]

[rashness]

[And he's back up in a moment, looking Determined!] No, I got this! [In fact, he assumes a more defensive stance, like he would in a brawl with Kuro. These guys are no giant cat, but--!

On the droids' next attack, he leaps back a bit to get out of the way, and then shoots back- he lands a punch, sending one back! -And the other grabs his tail, making him yelp because that's sensitive]

[snikting]

[... well, alright then. Logan crosses his arms to watch. Landing a punch isn't half bad for someone who only has brawled on the streets.]

[rashness]

Ow, ow, ow! The tail's cheating! [And he's defensive now, resulting in him lighting the hands of the offending droid on accident. It's intense for a moment, resulting in the outer armor warping a little and with a hard tug, allowing him to get free.

But it also leaves him open to get kicked in the chest by the other droid, sending him back.

[snikting]

What did I say about flames?

[But he lets it run its course. This isn't about Rin winning or even necessarily following the rules. Logan's evaluation his strengths and limits.]

[rashness]

Sorry! It's rough here! [And he gets back to his feet, sticking out his tongue at the droids. Of course, they don't emote, instead, one stays still and the other goes in to attack him. He goes to try to run around the charging one-

Only to get his tail grabbed again, and thrown away. Ooops]

[snikting]

Keep your tail better guarded. You're worse than the elf is.

[Though to be fair, the elf's got a far more useful tail to work with.]

[rashness]

Yeah, been noticing that. [Groaning. He's getting to his feet again though, wincing because man that tail is sensitive. At least the droids are relenting, for a moment. Or maybe he just got thrown that far]

[snikting]

You're smaller than they are. Use that to your advantage.

[If the kid's going to not relent, Logan may as well start giving some useful input.]

[rashness]

I am?! [He did not even realize this. It should have been obvious though. It's not as pronounced as him and Kuro or him and Skarmy though, which is probably why he didn't. Still, once he's on his feet the droids are back in. He crouches, avoiding the first kick that way, but then goes in for a punch, blocked. Back off. Then a droid goes in for another punch, defend! He's getting a tempo, alright]

[snikting]

Don't give them a chance to get around you. Keep 'em side by side. They'll be less mobile.

[They have to stay out of one another's way if they can't get on either side of him like they keep doing.]

[rashness]

[He nods, planning to try to figure out how to do that-- but then when he takes his eyes off the one he's defending against to make sure he knows where the other is, the first one lands a punch in his gut. O...ow]

[snikting]

Work through it. Recoil too long and they'll take you apart.

[rashness]

[He's about to protest when he gets hit over the head. He groans and then tries to swing a wild punch, which is easily evaded by the droids before the next one shoves him. He tries to get himself in order]

[snikting]

You're prime material for kidnapping now. The droids don't have need for things like honor or consideration. They won't let up.

[Now would be opportune for giving in.]

[rashness]

Then I'd just light 'em up! [And as he tries to catches his breath he looks up and glares at both of the droids. His eyes turn briefly into cat-like slits as both of the robots get covered in blue flames. The thing is, while that is more than enough for the defective droids and, given enough time, the real ones, droids aren't organic. So even if the outer armor is warping and in some places melting, they don't exactly stop, and he gets punched in the face for his bravado]

[snikting]

[Well, the kid has resolve. He can respect that. So this time, this one time, he'll reward it. He takes up the sword and tosses it when the moment is right.]

CATCH.

[rashness]

[He's bleeding some, but when eh hears "catch" he springs up into the air and catches the sword.]

Thank you!

[He draws it in one movement, transforming. And now, he smirks as he swings downward at the droids. A combination of the sword and concentrated flames around the blade allows him to cut the head of that one in half.

The other grabs his tail when he does that, which makes him yelp, but he turns and swings this sword to cut the thing in half horizontally using the same technique. He's not really aware he's doing it, it's just instinct or something he can cut through stone in canon after all

Transformed like this, it's much clearer these aren't as strong as the ones from the Bil incident though, huh. ...Or well, he thinks this for a little while before waving to Logan that he won! Missing that both of the cut up robots are actually still moving despite being, well, cut up]

[snikting]

[Well, Logan certainly isn't going to point out that the droids are still in play. He keeps his arms crossed, looking completely unimpressed.

Though, yeah. The kid is powerful, that's for sure. Incredibly sloppy, but there's a ton of potential there.]

[rashness]

[Hahah, see, he did it...! ...Maybe this guy is- okay no, he's totally stern like Yukio. Oh well, he starts to walk back over, putting the sword away and transforming back to normal.

Until he's tripped by the horizontal-in-half droid grabbing his legs and tripping him. And then the other (with the broken head) leaps on top of him and pinches his wings

Ow]

[snikting]

Don't let your guard down.

[That's the kind of guy Logan is. Giving words of caution one second too late.]

[rashness]

Too late! Come on!! [He whines, but tries to bat back the damaged things with his scabbard. It's looking a little pathetic at this point, but they aren't giving him any significantly damaging blows, at least. ...Even if he is on the ground]
