"Nah. He's not from the neighborhood." Ha. Far from it. Dad wouldn't know William, even if he would have heard of him.

"... he from east side?"

[precipitous]

"I dunno exactly where he lives." Which was true. She knew the Starks had a huge mansion on Lake Catheria, but she wouldn't be caught dead around there.

"I s'pose I'll just have to meet 'em some other time." He figured if it was a real relationship, she'd bring him around these parts eventually.

[precipitous]

"Oh - yeah, sure! Sure thing." Except she couldn't see Will coming over for dinner anytime soon. Oh well - she'd worry about it later.

[snikting]

"Well you lemme know if he turns out to be no good. I'll set 'em straight for you."

[precipitous]

"You got it, pops."

[snikting]

"Good. Now why don't ya go head in and see when yer ma will have supper ready."

"On it," she answered, righting herself and heading back towards the house.
