[So. A few days have passed since the conclusion of the experiment. Embarrassing moments all around, but after some time Noel can't help but wonder...

Where the heck is Kurt?

Thus, one fine Sunday afternoon, the blonde decides it's high-time to investigate the matter. Kurt's been her neighbor for months, so it isn't much of a hard trek... just gotta walk across this dirt road, head up to the door, and knock.

And wait.

Nervously.]

[Action, June 10]

[snikting]

[Out the door comes Logan, TOWERING OVER HER by like two inches or something. Luceti means he doesn't need to be shy about his powers. So his left hand has his claws extended with a powdered donut skewered between it. Why? Because he hates getting powder on his fingers.

She gets an unfriendly glare, even as he vaguely remembers her from the journal. He says nothing. If she wants something, she can say it.]

[Action, June 10]

[Oh, she remembers you, Logan.

Sort of.

...did she get the wrong house? This was most definitely KURT'S last she remembered! ...oh! Maybe it's his friend!?] Um... h-hi!

[touchofrogue]

[Continued]

Sure it will. It'll make me feel better 'bout seein' foot long metal claws come out of your hands.

[She starts towards the kitchen.] Buddy, for all I know, I see things like-- aw, crap.

[snikting]

Problem?

[He follows. From a distance, growing more and more suspicious of her.]

[touchofrogue]

I can't remember how ta make coffee. I know it's there, I know I want it, but-- [she glanced around the kitchen helplessly] --how the heck do ya make it?

Rogue missed supper. And she hadn't been back to the house for her uniform. When she arrived back at the house, she smelled of horses, river, and Loki. Really, she should have stopped somewhere to shower. That might be where she's headed right now, actually. Hopefully she won't run into anyone with super senses on the way to the bathroom.

It was unfortunate, then, that it was where Logan was exiting from. He was the sort of man who might bring a newspaper with him normally. Since Luceti had no such things, he had his journal. It was one of the few times he actually paid attention to it.

He merely gave Rogue a nod as he passed her by. Though he stopped. Because he smelled something.

[ Action, October 16th ]

Rogue, on the other hand, didn't stop. She gave Logan the slightest nod in return, barely looking at him.

November 1st, evening

[snikting]

[Logan came back from the draft at 9PM on the 31st. He was a wreck. His body had been severely depleted from constantly raging to the point where he'd lost the ability to walk. A ravaged body dealing with a disease and adamantium poisoning. It was a miracle he was even alive. The Logan that showed behind House 16, one foot in the chilly pool, did not look like the Logan his friends were commonly used to seeing. He had been weak. Starving. His skin had an unnatural color and so little strength.

He'd been on bedrest for nearly a full day when he finally woke up. He was alone at the time. Just long enough to figure out what had happened. Or what he assumed happened. He left out the window for a long, long walk to think. And smoke. His trip took him straight into the woods, out of interest of avoiding people. In the woods, he eventually released his anger and frustration on the trees. It was fortunate the wolf spirit was not around, because he paid little mind to the destruction he was creating. It was rare he ever felt as helpless as he had during that draft. Frankly, it pissed him off.

But as evening set in, he finally came back. He may not have been good at expressing himself or apologizing, but he always came back eventually. But it was with no fanfare. No checking up on the others. He went home, he found some leftovers in the fridge and a beer, and went back outside to eat on the porch. Cold air or not.]

[Ororo had been worried when she checked on Logan, and found an empty bed, an open window. She knew that was just how Logan was, a man who needed his solitude. But after the week they'd just had, she was more than a little concerned.

But he would come back, he always did. So they made sure there was food and beer where he could find them in the kitchen, thinking he had to be hungry at least. It's when Ororo feels like making some evening tea that she sees the both the food and the beer have disappeared.

She takes a cup of tea with her when she goes looking for him. When she finds him outside on the porch, she hangs back by the door knowing he would have sensed her presence before she even spoke up.]

Logan. It's good to see you up and about.

[snikting]

[Of all the things he remembered, Logan keenly remembered hurting Ororo. His eyes flickered towards where he had cut her, half expecting it to still be bleeding. Of course, it wouldn't be. But he'd been so out of control, unable to control himself. It was worse than the chip in his head.

His eyes drifted to the ground again.]

I'm a quick healer.

[touchofrogue]

Rogue was on her way back from town with a mission accomplished: One bottle of whiskey, achieved. She'd checked in on Logan last night, and a few times during the day when she hadn't been able to sleep, never actually approaching his bed.

One of the times, he'd not been there. And it was only after that when she'd given up and gone to the bar. All she wanted to do was sleep and not think for a little while longer.

He was okay.

And that was doubly proven when she came back and saw him sitting on the porch, "Logan!"

18 March ; Action

The mission notice had been sudden, but if she was honest with herself, Ororo almost welcomed the action after months of inactivity and the recent emotional stress of the portal business. It would be good to work out some of her frustrations in a good fight, she thought. Of course, she was forced to retract that opinion almost immediately. Storm and Wolverine had been assigned to the jungle area with a small group of other fighters, but the Elites they'd encountered had been prepared for them. They'd scattered in the ambush, and though the two mutants had managed to stay together, they had also been separated from their group for quite a while now.

They were more than capable fighters in their own right, but the Shifter in the enemy party was making things particularly difficult to hold their own. For Ororo, it meant having to stay close to the ground and relying less and less on her mutation.

She cursed in Arabic under her breath when she felt her powers being dampened again, so soon after she thought they'd lost them.

"... Well, this is proving to be a challenge."

18 March ; Action

It was becoming a habit for Logan to keep his claws constantly free. It made some things difficult for him, as having six deadly sharp claws protruding from your arm meant being careful around your allies. One wrong move could mean the death of Ororo. So when the Shifter was on top of them, he'd become a little slower, stop healing, and have to ignore the pain that came with the claws piercing his flesh.

Annoying, but he was savoring it. The challenge. The thrill. Life or death.

Even with his senses deadened, he could still spot a good spot to hide. He called her over to join him.

"Wouldn't be worth it if it were easy, darling. Keep your head low."

[Suki knew that she shouldn't worry, but she couldn't help it. All she wanted to do was check in once to see if Kurt had return and then be on her merry way.

So nervously, since she felt like an idiot, knocked on the door.]

[Logan was, oddly enough, at home. Briefly. Only because it was faster to get a beer from the house than to walk all the way to the bar. Dammit, he needed a motorcycle! He was on his way out when he heard a knock at the door. He cursed his luck at being the only one home.

He also had been removing the lid from his bottle of beer, which he did by simply cutting the very top of the bottle off with a single claw. So as he answered the door, one hand held a bottle of beer. The other had a single claw still sticking out of his forearm, seemingly forgotten. Despite standing at a mere five foot six, Logan somehow managed to strike an intimidating figure. Or maybe it was because of the stoop at the door. Regardless, he regarded Suki coldly and said nothing in greeting. If she wanted something, she could say it. Or if he was lucky, she'd just get nervous and leave.]

The only warning she'd given him was an audio message over the journals, the night before. She'd told him that she'd be showing up to his new apartment with some appropriate clothes for Tony and Pepper's big day, and that he better be ready.

But when she shows up at his door, bright and early on the morning of the 14th, she has a few bars of soap on hand anyway. Doesn't hurt to have insurance, after all.

Naturally, he had been paying no attention to the journal. So he was entirely surprised to find her at the door. Especially since he was only in a pair of boxer shorts, his hair was a wild mess, and he had a bottle of beer in hand.

"Ro?"

Just two days after the End of the House of M, Rogue came looking for Logan. Pain was her motivator, pain and determination. She didn't want to lose someone she loved so easily here. She wanted to give him one more chance, even though a large part of her didn't want that at all.

She didn't have to think very hard about where to find him. She simply showed up the the individual practice session she had been skipping since Lucetiville.

Even after all this time, Logan hadn't filled her spot. Lately it just meant an hour break he spent at the dome. There was no scenario running, but there was Logan. Up on the second floor, where he was 'negotiating' with the vending machine for some jerky. It wasn't being cooperative.
